MANILA, Philippines - A man allegedly stabbed dead his mother’s partner Friday night after the victim confronted him about his relationship with another man, police said yesterday.
Makeup artist Daryl Diamante and his lover, identified only as Mark Joseph, fled following the attack outside the house of victim Alden Resoco, 54, in Barangay Old Balara, Quezon City, according to Chief Inspector Rodel Marcelo, head of the Quezon City Police District’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit.
He said Diamante reportedly stabbed Resoco repeatedly with a broken bottle at the height of the argument while Mark Joseph allegedly beat the victim with a plastic chair.
Resoco died upon arrival at a hospital where he was brought by Diamante’s mother, Ronilda.
