Man stabbed by partner

MANILA, Philippines - A 34-year-old man died after he was reportedly stabbed by his partner in their house in Barangay North Bay Boulevard South, Navotas City Friday afternoon.

Sherwin Estacio Bacaran was declared dead on arrival at the nearby Tondo Medical Center after sustaining a stab wound in his right leg, said Navotas police chief Senior Superintendent Conrado Gongon in a report to the Northern Police District.

Gongon said Janelyn Illustrisimo Legaspi, 33, was arrested and will face charges for Bacaran’s death.

Case investigator Police Officer 2 Joemir Juhan said they are still investigating the circumstances behind the stabbing.
