15 hurt as jeepney hits car

MANILA, Philippines - At least 15 persons were hurt when a passenger jeepney rear-ended a car in Pasig City yesterday.

Motorist Angelo Paolo Luna said he was turning toward Meralco Avenue from Julia Vargas street when the jeepney, which was descending from the flyover hit his car.

Luna and the still unidentified jeepney driver were among those injured, police said.

The jeepney passengers hurt during the collision were taken to the Pasig City General Hospital and Rizal Medical Center for treatment.
