Couple shot in Caloocan

MANILA, Philippines - A businessman and his wife were ambushed Saturday afternoon in front of their house in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City.

Felipe Pallarca, 47, and his wife Julita, vegetable dealers, were on their motorcycle and about to go their business at around 6 p.m.when an unidentified man shot them, police said.

The couple was reported to be in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital, according to investigators.
