Manila university grad nabbed for selling fake papers

MANILA, Philippines - A 22-year-old graduate of the Unibersidad de Manila (UDM) was arrested yesterday for allegedly selling fake school documents.

Jhon Charlie Santos was arrested just outside the campus at around 2 p.m. yesterday after two students were caught presenting fake documents that show they passed the school’s entrance examinations.

School officials confiscated P57,000 from Santos and found P3,800 in his backpack.

UDM president Solfia Arboladura expressed the belief that Santos is in cahoots with some school officials. She said they will conduct an investigation and a case will be filed against the suspect.
