2 bodies dumped in front of Manila school

MANILA, Philippines -  The bodies of two men were found stuffed in two sacks and dumped in front of a public school in Sampaloc, Manila yesterday.

Investigators from the Manila Police District’s homicide section said the unidentified victims’ faces were wrapped in packaging tape and their necks bore ligature marks.

Barangay 496 Zone 49 councilman Wilfredo de Jesus was driving his scooter past the Esteban Abada High School at around 5:30 a.m. when he noticed two sacks in front of the school gates. He went to the police after finding that the sacks contained bodies.

Both victims were around 40 to 45 years old. Police said one man was 5’5” tall, had curly hair and a mustache, and was wearing a white polo shirt over a pair of shorts. The other victim was 5’3” tall, had the name “Jerry” tattooed on his back, and was clad in a blue and red polo shirt and camouflage shorts. Police Officer 3 Efren Flores said the second man was stabbed in the armpit.
