A total of P35 million was released yesterday as dividends to some 139,000 additional insurance policy holders by the Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association Inc. (AFPMBAI)
Soldiers, policemen, and other men and women in uniform who have participating additional insurance that took effect on or before Jan. 1, 2003 will benefit from the said dividends.
They may claim their dividends from AFPMBAI head office in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City or from any of its on-line regional offices located nationwide. Members from the Philippine Army, Philippine Air Force and Philippine Navy whose payrolls are through ATM may claim their dividends directly from their respective ATMs.
To help the men and women in uniform, including civilian employees, send their dependents to school, an educational assistance loan up to P50,000 per member is also being offered by AFPMBAI.
The loan carries only seven percent interest per annum and payable within one year.
Members who have a basic, special group term or additional insurance are qualified to avail of this very affordable loan.
They may use the educational assistance to whoever they wish to designate as beneficiary and whatever grade or course the beneficiary will take.
