Cops bullets hit boy, 3 others

A six-year-old boy is in critical condition at the Qurino Memorial Medical Center after he was hit in the head by a bullet fired from the guns of two policemen in Quezon City last Sunday.
Sharville Godeluna, of Project 4, was among those hit when PO1 Jovino Bautista Marcos Jr., 30, and PO1 Carlo Mojica, 29, both assigned at the 4th Battalion in Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig, fired their guns during an altercation with an unidentified man.
The cops were allegedly in a drinking session at a friends house along Pelaez street, Project 4 when they suddenly started chasing a still unidentified person.
Both fired shots in the air, but hit the boy as well as Edgar Icasiano, 24, Eric Llagas, 23, and Romulo Akarcon, 20.
The two cops are now detained at CPD Station 8 while charges are being readied against them.
