Murder case still unsolved

CEBU, Philippines - Consolacion town officials are calling for the early resolution of the murder case involving a councilor of Barangay Polog.

Barangay Polog Councilor Rey Balaba and two companions were chatting outside of a sari-sari store when shot at by a man on a motorcycle.

In this connection, town officials have asked Philippine National Police Director General Alan La Madrin Purisima for two patrol cars for the town police.

 The lack of vehicles affects police work.  (FREEMAN)
