Lapu-Lapu health dep’t to continue services

CEBU, Philippines - The Lapu-Lapu City health department has enough funds to continue the delivery of health services, especially in Olango Island and neighboring islets, city health officer Dr. Rodolfo Berame said.

He said aid will be sent to the city hospital and the Sta. Rosa Community Hospital in Olango Island.

Berame said the city government has received money from the Department of Health for its successful programs aimed at addressing malnutrition.

The National Nutrition Council handed the award to the city government last year.  (FREEMAN)
