“Robber” arrested

CEBU, Philippines - A man who was arrested last Saturday evening in sitio Dawis, barangay Tabunok, Talisay City at a checkpoint for gun possession has been linked to a number of robberies that were carried out in the city.

Superintendent Elmer Lim, Talisay City Police Station officer-in-charge, said Rithcie Daan, 27, of barangay Tanke, Talisay City had been involved in robberies as confirmed by at least three victims, one of them an employee of a bakeshop in barangay Poblacion.

The employee is set to file charges against Daan.

Lim said Daan operated with an accomplice.  (FREEMAN)
