The fashionable community of the south: Styles of the South

Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez opens the Style Origin community fashion show.

MANILA, Philippines - Alabang Town Center is the country club of the South where families and friends gather to shop and relax. Dressed in “country club or dressy casuals,” shoppers exude a stylish yet comfortable vibe — as if every day is a Sunday and, despite the distinctively laid-back air, style is not merely optional. It’s a must and a way of life.

Here, Ayala Malls Style Origin held its last show for the year, culminating with a community fashion show, a family affair for people of the South. Trendsetters such as Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez hosted while her sons Nicolas, Lorenzo and Alfonso modeled. Also present were the families of Christine Jacob-Sandejas, Katrina Mañosa, JV & Minnie Rocha, Fernando & Richelle Bermudes, and more.

DJs Callum David, Ornusa Cadness, Mia Ayesa and Marc Nicosia dished out music for the show. The graduates of ATC’s Kids Summer Dance Workshop and Symmetry Dance Studio, as well as Gab Valenciano and Tricia Centenera also took the stage.

The Style Origin series has traveled across the country for the last three months, gracing the Ayala Malls with fashion, entertainment and fun.
