Dark romance

Inhabit the world of the dark arts. Whether dressing for prom or some other equally fancy affair (a wedding? The Tatler ball?), consider things outside the realm of sweet pastels or conventional jewel tones. Frederick Peralta offers decadent gowns like a black princess-cut dress in tulle and velvet or a graphic, midriff-baring silhouette in a black and white check. Hindy Tantoco plays with texture, opting to highlight the cut of a mini with rosette-shaped ruffles for Culte Femme. Metals and studs serve as the highlight of Joel Escober’s dresses, while Chris Diaz offered a play on materials.

These dresses prove that there’s something to be said about going to the dark side.
