Disconnect to reconnect

MANILA, Philippines - We’re already halfway through the year and taking a break won’t hurt anyone. We might as well take a breather from the chaos and spend a night with our friends listening to good music. Think of Sinulog Festival minus the paint and, instead of going to Cebu, it’s just right here in the Metro.

The UP Junior Marketing Association is back with a game changer: La Isla Festival. It’s happening on Aug. 6 at Aseana City, Paranaque and organized by the same organization behind the annual ADHOC parties. This time it will be different, as they are ready to spark a new legacy with a new music festival that promises to be unlike any other.

La Isla Festival will disconnect millennials from day-to-day distractions and reconnect their sense of Filipino culture and heritage. The event features an integrated program, promoting classic and modern style elements of our country’s iconic fiestas. This will be matched with beats from various acts such as Nix Damn P, Jason Dewey, CRWN, Knoxville, Arthur Tan, Issa Ramos, Xavi Panlilio and Noel Bugia.

Just as it has been through the years, ADHOC is more than just a party. You’ll not just enjoy a night out but also help contribute to a good cause. All of La Isla Festival’s proceeds will go to the Kids Integrated Development through Schooling (K.I.D.S.) Program, and the UP JMA Scholarship Fund.
