MANILA, Philippines – Conrad Manila, a luxury hotel chain of Hilton Worldwide, has confirmed its partnership with Chinese celebrity master chef Jereme Leung, who will be at the helm of the hotel’s premier Chinese restaurant, China Blue by Jereme Leung.
Leung flew to Manila recently to sign the contract and officially confirm his partnership with Conrad Manila in spearheading and curating the food concept for the hotel’s premier Chinese restaurant.
China Blue by Jereme Leung will introduce a unique food concept of modern Chinese cuisine infused with a Filipino flair, tailored specifically for the local market.
Marking the partnership with chef Leung was Conrad Manila’s general manager Harald Feurstein and the culinary team led by executive chef Thomas Jakobi and restaurant manager Mary Jane Domingo.
“It is certainly an exciting time for Manila to finally have a Chinese restaurant with an international celebrity master chef at the helm,” said Feurstein. “With the world-class culinary innovation that chef Jereme Leung is known for, we are excited to introduce a remarkable twist to a cuisine close to Filipinos’ palates.”
Conrad Manila is slated to open in the first quarter of 2016.
