Forbes lists 10 Filipinos in '30 Under 30 Asia'

MANILA, Philippines — Forbes released on Thursday their first-ever “30 Under 30 Asia” list, citing ten Filipinos who excel in their respective fields.

The list is divided into ten categories, namely: Arts; manufacturing and energy; entertainment and sports; consumer technology; finance and venture capital; enterprise technology; media and marketing; health Care and science; social entrepreneurs; and retail and e-commerce. The list features 300 "promising young leaders and game changers"  across Asia.

According to Forbes, over a dozen of reporters did their research in finding the best and brightest millennials in Asia. After reviewing nominations, a short list was then submitted to their panel of 30 judges.

“The criteria for honorees making the list included leadership and disruption in their field; entrepreneurial mind-set and results; and the likelihood of changing their field over the next half-century.,”  Forbes said in a statement.
