Start small, dream big

A dynamic Filipina entrepreneur has launched a new book to empower other women entrepreneurs.  Myrna Yao, a multi-awarded businesswoman who made Barbie famous in the Philippines, shared her passion and journey from being a micro entrepreneur to CEO of several companies in her new book, The Gift of a Dream: The Great Women Project.  Among the notable guests at the launch held at the Boracay Room of the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila were Canadian Ambassador Neil Reeder and his wife Irene, APEC Women and the Economy 2015 Fora chair and Trade and Industry Undersecretary Nora Terrado, Philippine Commission on Women executive director Emmeline Versoza, 2009 Pearl S.
