South on sale

Zee Lifestyle, Cebu’s premier glossy magazine kicked off the holiday shopping season with the launch of  “South on Sale.” The weekend three-day sale gave shoppers a chance to enjoy special promotions and discounts at selected participating stores in Ayala Center Cebu.

The event was launched with a big party showcasing three lounges, which were designed by furniture designer extraordinaire, Vito Selma. These lounges had something special to offer to the exclusive list of shoppers invited to the affair.

The festivities began at the Zee Lifestyle lounge at The Gallery where guests received their tickets to the “South on Sale” passport shopping. An experience new to Cebu, the passport shopping gave out exciting prizes for individuals who managed to complete their passports with stamps from various outlets such as Aeropostale, F&F, Loalde, Superdry and more.

Free-flowing bubbly from the La Mer champagne bar started off the celebration as invitees learned about the luxury skincare brand’s innovative products. They then proceeded to the Globe Platinum lounge on the second level where a delectable chocolate buffet awaited, along with the network’s unbelievable promos and newest gadget offerings.

However, it was the BPI booth that people were most excited about. Set on one corner of the new expansion wing, the lounge hosted the Rustan’s pop-up store, with items from brands such as Fendi, Longchamp, Natori, Stella McCartney, Christian Louboutin, Loewe, Sergio Rossi, Hackett, Faconnable and Thomas Pink displayed on racks even before they are actually available in Cebu.

The well-attended “South on Sale” party lasted until midnight, with Simbang Gabi staples and local delicacies such as puto and suman being served to happy shoppers.
