Aster healthcare opens first Philippine clinic

MANILA, Philippines - Aster DM Healthcare, one of the leading healthcare conglomerates in India and the Middle East, marks its entry in the Philippines with the opening of its first clinic in the country at St. Francis Square, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. Headquartered in Dubai, the medical group has a network of over 290 establishments, ranging from hospitals to specialty clinics, pharmacies, and diagnostic centers. The new clinic in the Philippines marks the group’s first foray in Southeast Asia. Part of the group’s social corporate responsibility projects is the launch of Dr. Aster Mobile, a roving clinic on wheels designed to travel the country to provide checkups, diagnostic services, and laboratory services. At the new clinic’s launch are Benedict Lim of CASAM Holdings; Alisha Moopen, Aster DM Healthcare executive director and group CEO for hospitals and clinics; Lalduhthlana Ralte, ambassador of India to the Republic of the Philippines; Joyce Alumno, president and country manager of Aster DM Healthcare-Philippines; Samie Lim, director of Aster DM Healthcare-Philippines; and Dr. Joselito Chavez, medical advisor of Aster DM Healthcare-Philippines.
