MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Maymay Entrata will wear Dubai-based Filipino fashion designer Furne One’s gown to the upcoming ABS-CBN Ball on September 14 in Shangri-La the Fort.
In an interview with the media during the recent Modess event in which she was introduced as the brand ambassador, Maymay refused to give details on the Furne One gown she will be wearing.
“Hindi pa pwedeng sabihin pero Filipinana siya. Excited ako sa concept ng susuotin ko pero hindi pa pwedeng sabihin,” Maymay said.
“Ang designer ko po ay si Ms. Furne One pa rin, 'yung designer ko last year siya pa rin hanggang ngayon,” she added.
Maymay said she is thankful to the world-renowned Filipino designer for designing her gown again for the ball.
"Gusto ko lang mag-thank you kay Ms. Furne One kasi imposible na siya dapat maging designer ko kasi nagkasakit siya. Pero pinush niya pa rin, kaya sobrang thankful ako sa kanya," she said.
It can be recalled that Maymay and Furne collaborated last year. Maymay was the first Filipina to walk at the Arab Fashion Week in Dubai.
