Origins of style: Ayala Malls Style Origin launches in Greenbelt 5 and makes the rounds of Ayala Malls all over the country.

In partnership with The Philippine STAR and Starworld, and in collaboration with the country’s top lifestyle magazines Mega, Meg and Chalk, Style Origin empowers men and women with inspiring trends in clothing and cosmetics through landmark trunk shows specially compiled by the country’s leading style authorities, Regina Belmonte of YStyle, Peewee Isidro and Rainier Dagala of Mega magazine, Bianca Gonzalez and Patrick Galang of Meg magazine, and Kate Paras and Elaine Carag of Chalk magazine.

The Mensweek show kicked off at Greenbelt featuring designs by Anthony Ramirez, Avel Bacudio, Bang Pineda, Bea Samson, Chris Diaz, Dennis Lustico, Don Sevilla, Gian Romano, Herbert Custodio, Ivar Aseron, Jaggy Glarino, James Reyes, Jeffrey Rogador, Jerome Ang, Jerome Lorico, Joel Escober, Joey Samson, Johann Manas, Krue Bea, M. Barretto, Nixon Marquez, Noel Crisostomo, Norman Noriega, Proudrace, Regine Dulay, Renan Pacson, Rhett Eala, Roland Alzate, Sassa Jimenez, Tonichi Nocom, Ulysses King, Willar Matteo, Y. Quisumbing and Ziggy Savella.

The High Street Fashion was a mix of the latest collection from Greenbelt’s retailers. First in the spotlight were the kids and teens apparel from Hobbes and Landes, Osh Kosh B’Gosh, Mothercare, Gingersnaps, Chicco, Cotton On Kids and Big and Small. Followed by the casual pieces from: XOXO, Marks & Spencer, Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge, Warehouse, Tint, Carbon, Eterno, Paul Smith, American Eagle, Cotton On, 7 for All Mankind, Via Veneto, Onitsuka Tiger, Asics, Kikay, Dune, Kate Spade, Diesel, Zara, Replay, Steve Madden, Bratpack, Adidas, Muji, AC+632, Firma and Penguin.

Soft silhouettes and drapes that exude effortless elegance dominated the runway with the latest collection from our very own local designers: Religioso, Albert Andrada, Azucar Clothing, Myth, Joanna Preysler, Vic Barba and Jun Escario.

The best from international labels, showcasing the latest pieces and designs were unveiled from Escada Sport, Van Laack, Michael Kors, Furla, LeSportsac, Massimo Dutti and Jewelmer.

Catch Ayala Malls’ Style Origin as it unfurls the most enchanting runway for the lifestyle destination’s list of international brands and local design stalwarts. The hottest fashion trends were recently shown on the runways of Centrio Mall, Bonifacio High Street, MarQuee Mall and TriNoma. The next  Style Origin shows will be at Fairview Terraces on June 28-29, Harbor Point on July 5-6, Market! Market! on July 12-13, Abreeza Mall on July 19-20, Alabang Town Center on July 26-27, and the Ayala Center Cebu on Aug. 2-3.

Taking fashion education a notch higher, America’s Next Top Model Cycle 12 first runner-up Allison Harvard has also teamed up with Philippine STAR Supreme editor Tim Yap in rounding up today’s hottest lifestyle, fashion and beauty tips for the emerging generation recently at Glorietta, Alabang Town Center, TriNoma, Ayala Center Cebu, Centrio Mall and Fairview Terraces.
