MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya host-actress Anne Curtis is going to have a wax figure at Madame Tussauds!

Anne confirmed the news by sharing on her social media platforms that the Hong Kong branch of Madame Tussauds will feature a wax figure of her.

"Just in case hindi kayo makauwi sa birthday ko. Ito na. Kidding. Hahaha! Stay tuned! Another dream ANNE-locked!" Anne said of the historic moment.

Madame Tussauds Hong Kong is also where the other three wax figures of Filipinos are located: boxing legend Manny Pacquiao and Miss Universe winners Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray.

Anne's figure will be located in the branch's Glamour Zone surrounded by the likenesses of bigshot celebrities Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, and Chris Hemsworth.

"I'm so happy it came at the right time," said Anne, who is celebrating her silver anniversary in showbiz this 2023. "It truly is an honor. To have this dream come true, I'm grateful and very thankful to Madame Tussauds for choosing me."

The host-actress admitted initially thinking she would be completely plastered during the sitting, in actuality, the museum just took 360-degree photos and measurements.

Madame Tussauds teased that Anne's figure, set to be completeed and unveiled in 2024, will feature her in a familiar pose and a classic outfit that will truly immortalize her.

Anne was one of the Filipino celebrities that Merlin Entertainments, the company that operates Madame Tussauds, exclusively told Philstar.com last month were eyeing to "wax."

Also on the company's radar are theater veteran and Disney legend Lea Salonga, who they have attempted to contact, and socialite-artist Heart Evangelista.
