MANILA, Philippines - Singer-actress Karylle Tatlonghari or Karylle is making a name of her own in the entertainment industry. A singer, songwriter, actress, television host and model, Karylle is definitely one of today’s multi-talented artists in the country.
But the daughter of “Divine Diva” Zsa Zsa Padilla is not only an artist. She is also an entrepreneur, being one of the partners of CenterStage and Circle Café (with two branches located in Tomas Morato and Jupiter Street). She also shares her time with the less fortunate, being active in various causes such as the White Cross Orphanage and Makabata Foundation.
After going through a much publicized break-up last year, she took control of her life. She switched TV stations, recording companies as well as talent management (STAGES now handles her career). She also surprised many people when she decided to pose for one of the top clothing companies in the country to promote an underwear.
With all these changes, Karylle saw herself appearing in various TV shows such as ASAP, Betty La Fea and the recently concluded Nasaan Ka Maruja? She also has a new show coming up in the primetime block. She has also released her third album entitled Time for Letting Go, her first under PolyEast EMI.
Karylle has also appeared in various magazine covers and endorsements. She also dabbles in writing as contributor for The Philippine Star’s Entertainment section where she shares tidbits from her travels and the events in her life.

When asked if there is a particular scent she would recommend for every woman, Karylle mentions the Kiss Me scent. “It’s light and it makes me feel good about myself. I think it’ll be the same for them.”
She adds: “Hygiene is important but you have to add to it and feel pretty the way people don’t see it by smelling good.”
With hard work and determination, Karylle has definitely proven that she is a star worth remembering.
