Nartatez reshuffles 8 PNP officials
MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. has reassigned eight PNP officials in the latest revamp of key posts in the organization.
Highway Patrol Group (HPG) director Brig. Gen. Rommel Sta. Ana Batangan was designated acting chief of the Maritime Group.
Batangan replaced Brig. Gen. Crisaleo Tolentino who was named acting director of Police Regional Office 1.
Civil Security Group head Brig. Gen. Joyce Patrick Bulaun Sangalang replaced Batangan in the HPG.
Brig. Gen. Francisco Banaag Ebreo was transferred from the PNP Academy to head the PNP Training Service.
PNP-Public Information Office assistant chief Col. Renell Ruga Sabaldica was named officer-in-charge of the Directorate for Comptrollership.
Brig. Gen. Roland Vallejo Bulalacao was designated acting deputy director of the PNP Academy.
Col. Jerome Dichoso Balbontin was transferred to the Civil Security Group.
Brig. Gen. Christopher Olao assumed command of the Quezon City Police District, replacing Brig. Gen. Randy Glenn Silvio who was named Bicol police director. – With Rainier Allan Ronda
