Janeena, natakot mangiwi!

Biglang naalala ni Janeena Chan na 10 years ago na pala since magkaroon siya ng Bell’s palsy na nagpabago ng kanyang lifestyle.

Aniya, grabe ang workload niya noon as in halos wala na siyang break.

Dahil dito ay natuto na siyang mag-pause sa trabaho.

“Kapag feeling ko mai-stress ako or feeling ko I’m getting more than I can commit to, parang huwag na lang,” sabi ng host sa isang interview last week nang ipakilala siya bilang bagong ambassador ng BlueWater Day Spa.

“Naka-10 years na pala. At the time, I was super busy, pero hindi ‘yung busy in a healthy way pala.”

Aniya wala sa edad ang Bell’s Palsy: “It can happen to anyone talaga. Kahit sino puwedeng ma-paralyze ang face just because of stress and not having enough sleep.”

Ayon sa mayoclinic.com: “Bell’s palsy is a condition that causes sudden weakness in the muscles on one side of the face. Often the weakness is short-term and improves over weeks. The weakness makes half of the face appear to droop. Smiles are one-sided, and the eye on the affected side is hard to close.”
