Envoy urges Japanese to travel to Philippines
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine embassy in Japan is promoting the Philippines as a destination of choice for Japanese outbound travelers, especially for the Golden Week holidays.
Philippine Ambassador to Japan Mylene Garcia Albano said tourism plays a vital role in the country’s economic resurgence in the post-COVID world.
“The Philippines welcomes with open arms Japanese visitors looking for a getaway for diving, health and wellness, and English language education, among other offerings,” Albano said.
She urged Japanese travelers to “choose the Philippines because we offer an unforgettable experience, with our much renowned Filipino hospitality.”
“Choose Philippines because our tropical climate and the wonders of our nature will surely captivate your senses. Choose Philippines because of the endless discoveries that await you in our more than 7,100 islands,” Albano said.
