MANILA, Philippines — Four weather systems will continue to bring rains over most parts of the country in the next few days, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

It spotted a low-pressure area 45 kilometers southwest of General Santos City, which was forecast to continue dumping rains over most parts of Mindanao but unlikely to develop into a tropical depression.

PAGASA weather forecaster Meno Mendoza said the northeast monsoon would bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region as well as over the provinces of Isabela and Aurora.

Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms, meanwhile, will prevail over Quezon province and Bicol region due to the tail-end of a frontal system.

Kalayaan Island and Puerto Princesa City in Palawan will also experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the intertropical convergence zone.

Metro Manila will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon tomorrow, Mendoza said.
