Duterte public address reset to midweek

MANILA, Philippines — President Duterte is scheduled to deliver his weekly public address on Wednesday, Malacañang said.
Presidential spokesman Harry Roque said Duterte was supposed to talk to the nation yesterday, but the event was rescheduled because of the Cabinet meeting.
“It was cancelled for today because of the Cabinet meeting, but it was rescheduled for Wednesday,” Roque said.
Last week, Roque said Cabinet meetings have not been frequent because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Before the pandemic, the President convened a full Cabinet meeting every month.
