MANILA, Philippines — Christian Lawrence Go, son of Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go, was among the examinees who topped this year’s Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure examinations.
Christian Lawrence, who graduated summa cum laude, gold medalist and a member of the Jose Rizal Honors Society from De La Salle University in Manila, garnered a score of 89.50 percent, enough to secure the third highest spot in the licensure examinations.
The results of the examinations were released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) online, including the names of official board passers, school performance and the list of the topnotchers.
According to the results released, 2,075 out of 14,492 takers passed the CPA exams administered by the PRC Board of Accountancy at testing centers in Manila, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban and Tuguegarao.
