MANILA, Philippines — Oil firms adjusted fuel prices anew yesterday, raising gasoline by 30 centavos per liter and slashing diesel by 15 centavos per liter.

This is the third consecutive weekly oil price increase amid ongoing concerns over tightening of global oil supply and the first rollback for the month.

In separate advisories, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., Seaoil Philippines, Phoenix Petroleum and PTT Philippines said the price adjustment would take effect today.

“Seaoil will adjust its pump prices starting at 6 a.m. today,” the firm said in an advisory.

PTT Philippines issued the same advisory.

Similarly, Eastern Petroleum said it would slash the price of diesel by 15 centavos per liter and hike the price of unleaded premium gasoline by 30 centavos per liter.

World oil prices have been affected by speculations amid the US-China trade war and oil disruptions in Libya and Canada.
