DFA-OVS, Comelec, TV5 International partner for overseas voting

MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Foreign Affairs-Overseas Voting Secretariat (DFA-OVS) and the Commission on Elections (Comelec) have signed an MOA with Pilipinas Global Network Limited (TV5 International) to increase overseas voting  awareness on the procedures and  system  as well as the importance of politically empowering Filipinos here and abroad.

All Filipino citizens abroad during the 30-day overseas voting period (April 9-May 9, 2016) for the 2016 elections may personally register as overseas voters at all Philippine foreign service posts (FSPs) including the three Manila Economic and Cultural Offices, 15 OVRCs in the Philippines and at other Comelec-approved field/mobile registration centers. For an updated list please visit www.dfa-oavs.gov.ph or www.comelec.gov.ph.

Overseas Filipinos in the Asia Pacific (except China and Taiwan), Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa region may now go to  irehistro.comelec.gov.ph/ov to access the iREHISTRO online system to register as an overseas voter. The voter registration period ends today.
