MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Thursday identified the areas that will be possibly affected by Super Typhoon "Ruby."
In a televised meeting headed by President Benigno Aquino III, PAGASA showed the projected track of Ruby, which will most likely make landfall over Eastern Samar and traverse Visayas.
But because the typhoon has a diameter of 700 kilometers, it is expected to affect areas outside Visayas.
According to PAGASA, the areas under the red alert level are expected to be hardest hit by the Ruby.
