Yellow trolls using Facebook to confuse netizens

For you people who are Facebook fans, I am sure you must have read reports for instance that is headlined like this, "Sen. Leila De Lima ex-husband meets with Napoles-NBI Exec" and that story comes from Philippine Star. Then you will read a Pinoy Trending report that blares, "Former NBI Deputy Director releases a CCTV of De Lima and Janet Napoles alleged meeting." Then finally still on the very same page is other report that screams, "Breaking: Leila De Lima is elected newest UN Secretary General" from the Guardian.com. Why is this happening in that Facebook page?

Very clearly what we have two major valid newspaper reports lumped together with total crap in Facebook and I don't know why Facebook administrators allow this! Yes we know that there is no truth to the election of Leila De Lima as UN Secretary General. But what we are seeing here is the effort by the yellow supports of Leila De Lima who for six-years have been adept at fooling the Filipino people continue to do so in order to sow confusion, especially on very legitimate and valid reports about Sen. De Lima comes out in public. People tend to read and remember that UN report and dismiss it as a total fabrication and end up not giving any second thoughts of the valid news report against Sen. De Lima.

There is no doubt that the yellow trolls are doing a concerted effort to use the social media networks in sowing confusion and intrigues. They continue fooling the Filipino people and the Facebook is helping them. I dare say that it is high time to expose their blatant lies as we have a new era under President Rodrigo "Digong" Duterte who tells the truth and not as how these shadowy figures want the truth to come out for public consumption.

Mind you three-years and a few days ago it is exactly three years since Janet Lim Napoles surrendered to former president Benigno "PNoy" Aquino III in Malacañang. Until today, no one has truly dug deeper into why JLN surrendered directly to the former president. Worse of all, Aquino himself escorted Napoles to Camp Crame and showed her the quarters where she would be staying under police custody. Frankly speaking that is the job of a desk officer in a police station, but not the president of the Philippines.

To make matters worse, in a hastily called presscon, PNoy was asked if he knew Napoles. And he told the press that he never knew her or met her before. A week later, the Inquirer came up with that damning photo of Aquino having a photograph with Napoles and her daughter during a dinner at the Mactan Shangri-La Resort and Spa which apparently happened right after the thanksgiving mass for San Pedro Calungsod. I remember writing a column and pointing a finger at the former president telling him that he lied before the Filipino people.

But the yellow propagandists controlling the media inside Malacañang scoffed at what we wrote and the President went on his merry way lying to the Filipino people, until three months later on November 8, 2013 when God slapped the Filipino nation with super typhoon "Yolanda" the biggest natural disaster to hit planet earth that ended up exposing the truth about the incompetence of the Aquino regime, to the point that international news agencies like CNN were baffled at the stupidity of the Aquino Cabinet secretaries whom they interviewed in Tacloban City.

It was then that CNN's Anderson Cooper had his infamous interview with the incompetent Department of Interior and Local Government Sec. Manuel "Mar" Roxas II, which went viral in the social media networks. Then we all saw that taped infamous meeting between Mar Roxas and Tacloban Mayor Martin Romualdez and the rest is history. Daang Matuwid was the biggest victim of Super typhoon "Yolanda" and to top it all, the foreign monies donated from all over the world wasn't given any proper accounting and remains an enigma today.

So yesterday when I read a report that revealed by Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aquirre II that there was "selective justice" during the Aquino administration because his predecessor, Secretary De Lima, blocked the prosecution of some politicians allegedly involved in the pork barrel scam, I was not surprised at all. On the royal treatment of Napoles when she surrendered to the President in Malacañang three years ago, that should be investigated thoroughly for the simple reason that Aquino himself was caught lying through his teeth that he did not know Napoles.

There are many other unanswered queries that for instance, no less than the Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales should be answerable as to why it is taking her too long to file charges against those public officials that misused the Priority Development Assistance Fund and the Disbursement Acceleration Program which the Supreme Court in an en banc resolution declared as unconstitutional! Abangan!
