MANILA, Philippines — Former Environment Secretary and former Chair of the ABS-CBN Foundation, Gina Lopez, has nothing but good words to the Pinoy Big Brother housemates turned loveteam, Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber.
At the launch of her show’s nationwide search “The Quest for Love,” Lopez, who hosts travel show “G Diaries,” expressed admiration to Entrata, whom she described as very “sweet” and “real.”

According to Lopez, even Barber’s mother also liked Entrata.
“She's the sweetest..She's totally kalog. She's real eh, she's totally not plastic,” Lopez said while describing Entrata.
“The mother of Edward, she doesn’t like Maymay, she loves her!” she added.
Lopez shared that the loveteam dubbed “MayWard,” got good reception from Cebuanos when they had a shoot in Kinatarcan Island in Cebu.
The host cited that the loveteam was chosen to join her in her shows since Entrata knows Visayan language. She added that she didn’t initially know the two but was surprised they got a huge fanbase.
Before her PBB stint, Entrata resides in Cagayan de Oro.
“They were good,” Lopez said as she described MayWard’s work.
MayWard and actress-singer Antoinette Taus joined Lopez in her show to feature the island of Kinatarcan and its community. The show airs every Sunday.
