MANILA, Philippines — While Binibining Pilipinas winners like Binibining Pilipinas International and Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa is excited for the new pageant to be held held on March 18 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Kylie hopes to see more changes in the pageant this year.

“I hope Binibini will (introduce changes) and good changes,” Kylie told Philstar.com in a recent interview.

According to her, pageant organizers should get to know the contestants more.

“Siguro… more one-on-one interviews so every girl can get the chance to express herself, so people can learn about her more, instead of just watching their performance onstage with that one time question and answer. So sana, makilala nila ‘yung girls isa isa,” Kylie explained of the changes she wants to see.

Besides the pageant, Kylie is also excited to join her second cruise as a SuperStar Virgo ambassador. She joined the maiden Manila-Laoag- Kaohsiung-Hong Kong trip last year, which launched Manila as a cruise homeport for the first time.

“For the first time, Filipinos don’t have to go outside (the country) to join a cruise!” she said, believing that the cruise gives tourists a good opportunity to discover more about Southeast Asia without the need to get a visa.
