MANILA, Philippines - The YesPinoy Foundation, Inc. (YPF), chaired by Alyas Robin Hood star Dingdong Dantes, marked its eighth anniversary at the ground floor of Newport Mall, Resorts World Manila.

The event also launched a disaster resilience program and a week-long art exhibit for a cause dubbed as I Am Super: An Art Exhibit for Resilience.

The I Am Super campaign aims to distribute YPF Go Bags, which are hooded backpacks with emergency kits and learners’ materials, to children in the 10 chosen schools and communities nationwide that are highly at risk to natural and human-induced disasters.

I Am Super also extends assistance to families, children and soldiers affected by the Marawi Siege. Recently, Dingdong visited the Philippine Naval Hospital to meet the wounded soldiers from Mindanao. “Our soldiers are modern-day heroes. Their efforts, together with our volunteers in Mindanao, deserve to be recognized and appreciated by every Filipino,” added Dingdong.

The exhibit, held until Aug. 27, featured two flower arrangements from Marian Rivera which were sold for P100,000 each during the launch.

Exhibiting artists included Mark Padernal, Carlo Saavedra, Patrick Cabral, Ivy Lim, Albrecth Behmel, Benedict Abigan, Evelyn Montenegro and Alfonso Recto.

Official partners were Taclob, Department of Education, GMA Network, AOK Life, DSTNCT, Sterling Paper Group of Companies, Resorts World Manila, Vamos, Embrace Project, FWD Insurance and RunRio.
