MANILA, Philippines — After her controversial answer in an interview about living together with on- and off-screen partner James Reid, actress Nadine Lustre remains true to herself, saying that she stands by her words and she does not get affected by bashers.

“Hindi mo naman ma-please lahat. As for me naman, hindi naman ako nagfifilter ng isasagot ko kasi bakit naman ako magsisinungaling,” the "It’s Showtime" host told members of the press in an interview.

Nadine added: “Kasi kami naman ni James, as much as  possible hindi kami nagtatago kung ano man ang nangyayari samin. But then, s'yempre 'yung ibang nangyayari samin hindi naman kailangan pang i-broadcast. Para sa'min nalang po iyon.”

Nonetheless, the singer-host-actress clarified she does not see herself marrying soon. “Not until ma-achieve ko na lahat ng gusto ko.”

As of now, Nadine is enjoying her stay in the noontime show where she credited her “It’s Showtime" family for guiding her. “I love hosting sa Showtime kasi super saya n'ya. In hosting kasi mas nakaka-touch ako sa tao eh. Kasi I can converse to them. Nako-connect ko sila sa mga televiewers.”

Besides the show, Nadine is back in the music scene where she is now doing an album which is composed of original and upbeat songs to be released late this year or early next year.

She admitted that she misses acting in a movie or TV series. About being the number one sexiest woman in the country as named by a men’s magazine, Nadine said she can now accept sexier roles but with limitations. “Hindi naman super sexy pero sakto lang. Sexy, for me, is being confident and being in-touch with yourself. Everyone has flaws but then you should know how to work it.”

During her spare time, Nadine is a traveler. But she cannot go on a vacation without her camera and phone. Her Instagram, which has four million followers, is a collection of perfectly captured snapshots from various trips. She captured those vibrant photos using her Sony ILCE-5100, carefully curated to ensure perfect color combination.

“The Sony ILCE-5100 has everything that I’m looking for in a digital camera. It is user-friendly, which allows me to take beautiful photos that I can easily share with my followers,” Nadine said. Nadine and Sony recently renewed their partnership as the actress has been hailed as the brand’s new digital imaging and personal audio ambassador.
