MANILA, Philippines - Andre Vanessa Entertainment LLC, in partnership with Prime Media Modeling Agency, presented Pinoy Weave 2017 last July 8 at 4 West 43rd in Manhattan, New York.
Three renowned designers from the Philippines were invited to the Big Apple to showcase their creations in a one-of-a-kind event highly-anticipated by Fil-Am fashionistas. It has been a while since Philippine-based designers have staged a show in New York.
Designers (from left) Julius Tarog, Sidney Perez Sio and Cherry Samuya Veric arrived a few days before the show to accommodate models’ fittings and pictorials. They also had the chance to tour NYC and the nearby states during their stay. The trio also had a courtesy visit on Deputy Consul General Bong Carino and Consul Arman Talbo at the Philippine Consulate General in Manhattan.
