The pre-war issues of Literary Song-Movie magazine featured on its cover three Sampaguita films.
They were:
1936 — Tigre, action-drama topbilled by Exequiel Segovia, Teddy Benavidez, Miguel Anzures, Nita Linda.
1939 — Dalisay starring soprano Felly Vallejo, musical drama.
1941 — Tarhata with Corazon Noble (title role), Rogelio de la Rosa and Lota Delgado.
Literary Song-Movie magazine was in both English and Tagalog, published until the ’60s. Aside from entertainment articles, the magazine also came out with short stories, light essays and poems. — RKC
