MANILA, Philippines - Twilight alumnus Kellan Lutz is not just in love with the Philippines' scenic spots, but also with the Filipino people and culture.

In an exclusive phone interview with Philstar.com on February 23, Lutz said he loves how welcoming the Filipinos are towards other people.

"I love the culture in the Philippines. Filipinos are sweet, open, generous, humble and they create a warm and welcoming sense of experience. It does not matter who you are because they got so much respect to everyone," he said.

According to Lutz, he visited Philippines last July for a friend's wedding.

Despite staying under the radar of local media during his visit, Lutz was spotted by some fans who gladly asked for his autograph.

Lutz recalled the fans were nice and very respectful when they asked for his autograph.

After taking part in the Expendables 3 and playing the lead role in The Legend of Hercules, the 30-year-old actor/model/host is currently promoting his American game show Bulls Eye in Southeast Asia. The show was launched last year in US as Fox's newest reality competition.

The one-hour challenge series was produced by Endemol Shine North America, the producers of Wipeout and Fear Factor. Being an avid enthusiast of extreme sports, Lutz did not hesitate to take the job when offered to host the adrenaline-pumping game show.

"I mean I love it. I initially want to be a part of it. It's very different than acting and modelling you know. In hosting the show, I can just be my fun loving self and be my adventurous self at the same time," said Lutz said.

The show, which recently aired its last episode for its first season featured participants who competed with each other in extreme challenges by literally hitting the bullseye for a $50,000 prize.
