MANILA, Philippines - Pia Wurtzbach remains stunning and elegant under the heat of the afternoon sun as she is welcomed by Filipinos in her homecoming parade on Tuesday.

The parade is only one of the activities in Pia's almost week-long homecoming, which is will culminate in a show at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

The parade began at past 2 p.m. at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, and will end at Ayala Avenue in Makati City.

She will also have a parade at the Araneta Center in Quezon City, which will begin at the Novotel Manila Hotel.

Pia is wearing an emerald green Albert Andrada terno. Andrada is the designer who made the 26-year-old beauty queen's now iconic blue evening gown during the 64th Miss Universe pageant.

The float used for the parade is designed by Fritz Solirio and has a white and royal blue motif.
