MANILA, Philippines - Summer and Lent point to a season when most people take a break and hit their hometowns. Tonight at 7:45 on GMA, Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS) hitches on some of the celebrities’ homecoming trips.
Before becoming the renowned mother to the country’s boxing champ, Mommy Dionesia Pacquiao used to rent a small room in Purok Acharon in General Santos City where she drinks and sells peanuts. KMJS goes with Mommy D as she says hello again to her drinking buddies.
Laguna boy Alden Richards, meanwhile, tries the challenging job of a boatman in his hometown’s tourist spot Pagsanjan Falls.
Wynwyn Marquez, for her part, not only visits her mother’s hometown in Talisay, Cebu for a Visita Iglesia but also channels her inner “Loveliness” (as her mom Alma Moreno is also dubbed) as she takes on a showdown with the Cebu Dancing Inmates.
Also featured are Angelika de la Cruz who takes viewers for a tricycle tour and a food trip around Malabon; Boobay who enjoys the beautiful Camara Island in Pundaquit with childhood friends from Zambales; and Lito Camo who returns to Puerto Galera.
