MANILA, Philippines - The feisty Katy Perry, together with singer Lenny Kravitz and special guest Missy Elliott performed Sunday at the Super Bowl XLIX halftime show and proved that her incredible showmanship can make the whole stadium roar.

Just like Queen Beyonce's and Bruno Mars'  previous Super Bowl performances, Katy Perry's has earned rave reviews and positive reactions from the audience. Perry opened the show atop a large tiger operated by men in black suits. Donning a costume with flame details, the pop star sang her massive hit, "Roar."

The arena gave off a cosmic vibe when she dismounted atop the tiger to follow up her "jungle-ish" performance with the electro-flavored "Dark Horse." Dancers wearing metallic outfits made the stage look more futuristic and intergalactic. Kravitz joined her next for a scorching hot performance of “I Kissed a Girl."

The popstar then shifted her performance with a more fun and funky vibe with her  "Teenage Dream" and "California Girls" while being accompanied by sharks, surfboards and bobbing beach balls.

A surprise appearance by hip-hop icon Missy Elliott came after the beach-themed performance. The popstar wrapped up her performance with the eye-popping “Firework." She was  carried by a shooting star platform as she soared above the stadium.
