MANILA, Philippines – Lights, camera, action! Get ready for one of the biggest romantic drama movie to hit the headlines.

According to reports, a movie about the United States President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama is being developed.  "Southside with You" tells the story of the Obamas’ first date back in the summer of 1989.

Filming will take place next summer in Chicago’s south side, where Obama, who was then then a first-year Harvard Law student and working as an associate at the Chicago law firm Sidley Austin asked out and fell in love with attorney Michelle Robinson, who was then his younger boss.

Richard Tanne will be directing the indie flick and Tracey Bing and Stephanie Allain  will be the producers. The Homegrown Pictures production already cast "Get on Up" actress Tika Sumpter to play young Michelle while search is still on to find an actor to play young Barack.
