MANILA, Philippines - From left: Vilma Santos (for Ekstra) and Rustica Carpio (for Ano Ang Kulay ng Nakalimutang Pangarap) shared the Best Actress in a Lead Role — Drama at the 11th Golden Screen Awards given out by the Entertainment Press Society (EPS) last Saturday at Teatrino’s Greenhills.
Winning Best Actor in the same category was Joel Torre for his performance in On The Job (OTJ).
Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz were named Best Actress and Best Actor in a Lead Role — Musical for Star Cinema’s It Takes A Man and A Woman.
Other winners:
• Joey Paras, Best Supporting Actor (for Dance of the Steel Bars); and Angel Aquino, Best Supporting Actress (for Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita).
• Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Best Breakthrough Performance by An Actress (for Transit).
• Transit, Best Motion Picture — Drama.
• It Takes A Man and A Woman, Best Picture — Musical.
