FOX launches 'new and improved' sports channel

MANILA, Philippines- Sports fans get to enjoy their favorite games and matches in FOX Sports' “new and improved” looked.

FOX Sports channel is now FOX Sports Network, combining their three sports channels –  FOX Sports, Star Sports and FOX Sports Plus – into FOX Sports, FOX Sports 2, and Fox Sports 3.

These three channels will be airing games, matches, and features with different categories.

FOX Sports will air NBA, PBA,  games and NASCAR events.  The channel will also cover the Liga BBVA, AFC Champions League, AFC Cup, and AFF Suzuki Cup.

The channel will also feature shows like FOX Sports Flick, where movies and documentaries about sports will be aired, and Fitness Block where viewers are given a daily dose of fitness tips.

FOX Sports 2 on the other hand will air different ball, racquet, and athletic sports. Three of the four tennis majors will be airing on this channel, including Wimbeldon, French, and Australian Opens. Golf majors like the Masters and Open  Championship will also be featured.

Football will also be featured in the channel. Filipino fans would be able to watch different European and Asian Football matches. Bonus are  Major League Baseball, triathlons, and marathons.

Lastly,  FOX Sports 3 will cater to adrenaline-rush  filled sports such as Formula One, MotoGP, and combat sports like boxing, kickboxing, and UFC.

Viewers can also watch out for their upcoming shows like Formula-E, which starts on September 13, 2014, and the German Bundesliga starting in August 2015.
