Classic Mrs. Asia Int’l Global 2014

MANILA, Philippines - Cited for being young, sexy and gorgeous, Jocelyn “Joyce” Pilarsky of the Philippines won Classic Mrs. Asia International Global 2014 at the Mrs. Asia International Pageant (MAIP) held last June 28 at the Menara PGRM Dewan Wawasan in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Pilarsky competed with 12 finalists from India, Borneo, Macau, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Philippines.

An annual beauty and personality competition, MAIP looks for the true essence of the modern empowered women to achieve balance in their multi-faceted lives to contribute significantly to their families and the society. Using these criteria, the competition has two sections: Classic Mrs. Asia International for women aged 39 years and above, and Mrs. Asia International for women under 38.

Pilarsky missed the preliminaries by one-and-half days. She arrived late, her trip delayed by her participation in the Fusion of Fashion and Art fashion presentation and ballroom dance as organized by the Society for Cultural Enhancement, Inc. at the Rizal ballroom of the Shangri-La Makati. The STAR’s Lifestyle columnist Johnny Litton hosted the event.

Her sophomore beauty title, Pilarsky was declared as International Ambassador and one of its six finalists at the 2013 Magnificent Women Icons held in September 2013 at Niagara Falls, Buffalo, New York. Also last year, the Best Dressed Women of the Philippines proclaimed her as Style Icon.

Based in Germany, Pilarsky is a couture designer, book author, visual artist and philanthropist. She has held shows of her flower-inspired collections of formal wear using natural fabrics in France, New York, London, Germany, Abu Dhabi and the Philippines.
