Justin Bieber, One Direction to raise more funds for ‘Haiyan’ victims

MANILA, Philippines- International artists continue to shower help to the victims of  super typhoon Haiyan, known locally as Yolanda.

International singer Justin Bieber used his hobby for a good cause, as he used graffiti in sending out his message to the victims of the typhoon, TMZ reported.

The graffiti says “PRAY 4 PHILIPPINES” with clasped hands in prayer placed in the middle, while his initials “JB” were placed on the bottom.

Justin plans to auction the spray cans he used to draw the graffiti, which he signed as well.

Meanwhile, the UK boy band One Direction also made an effort to collect donations for the victims of the typhoon.

They organized a telethon  in the UK to encourage people to  pledge help for the victims, London Evening Standard reported.

Also joining the telethon are celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, comedian Stephen Merchant, broadcaster Andrew Marr and actors Alan Rickman, Allen Leech and Joanne Froggatt.

1D’s member Liam Payne said they were moved by the photos they’ve seen circulating the net, showing how gravely Philippines was affected by the typhoon.

“All of us in the band are shocked by how many people need help, so we're asking the public to continue to be as generous as they possibly can,” he said.
