MANILA, Philippines - For the past four months, viewers were glued to their TV screens as they followed the different kind of love triangle of Dennis Trillo’s character Eric, Tom Rodriguez’s Vincent and Carla Abellana’s Lally on GMA 7’s provocative drama series My Husband’s Lover (MHL).
The soap tackled true-to-life relationships. MHL defied all conventions on traditional drama soaps and it definitely captured viewers all over the country.
According to data from ratings service provider Nielsen TV Audience Measurement, the series was preferred by more viewers as it defeated its rival programs in urban Luzon and Mega Manila during its run.
Based on overnight household ratings data recorded in Urban Luzon for June 10 to Oct. 9 (weekdays), MHL scored an average household rating of 22.8 percent versus its rival programs. For the same period in Mega Manila, MHL scored 25.2 percent against competing programs.
And now as MHL is down to its final week, find out if the three of them will have their own happily ever after. Or will it be Vincent and Lally? Or will it still be Vincent and Eric?
