Undercover Boss, Top Gear on Solar Channel

MANILA, Philippines - Imagine you’re eating at a diner. You’re enjoying a scrumptious burger and a to-die-for glass of strawberry milkshake when suddenly, the jukebox turns on and Elvis, Marilyn and a waiter on skates start dancing to Staying Alive along the aisles. You know this can only mean one thing — you’re dining at Johnny Rockets.

Food chain employees literally take all the heat as they work all day in the kitchen, taking orders, and in Johnny Rockets’ case, dancing while waiting tables. But what happens if you throw in the boss to do the dirty dishes instead? Or to slip on that Elvis costume for a round of Jailhouse Rock?

Award-winning reality TV show Undercover Boss returns for a second season of thrilling episodes wherein company executives slip out of their tailored suits in exchange for jumpsuits when they are sent to do the dirty job in their own business.

In this episode, you will see John Fuller, president and CEO of international retro-themed food chain Johnny Rockets, go into disguise to prove that he can reign in the kitchen as well. Will Fuller be able to pull the mission off without being recognized? Find out on the episode of Undercover Boss.

Undercover Boss Season 2 premiered yesterday with a replay today at 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Solar News Channel.

Meanwhile, you won’t miss Jeremy for long as Top Gear comes back for a new season on Solar News Channel. Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May head for the Isle of Man to decide which is best: The new baby Aston Martin (the V8 Vantage), BMW M6 or Porsche 911 Carrera S. A supercar (the Ascari KZ1) takes to the track and the Star in the Reasonably Priced Car is actor Trevor Eve (Waking The Dead).

Top Gear’s initial airing was also last night, with replay tomorrow night at 8.

Solar News Channel airs on Sky Ch. 16, Global Destiny Ch. 28, Cignal Ch. 10, Cablelink Ch. 12 and on free TV SBN Ch. 21.
